Class Description:
Following the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the numerous encyclicals from Pope Leo XIII to St. Pope John Paul II, this course will comprehensively review the teachings the Catholic Church has timelessly understood around the way the human person is to live in society. We will draw from the ancient sources of the Church (Didache, Augustine, etc), recognize how the Church lived and understood Christ’s teachings through great saints like Aquinas and Robert Bellarmine, all towards a goal of dispelling the modern conundrums of a fruitless and aimless politic. (13+ age range)
